Our work with older people takes us into care homes, dementia units, retirement villages and sheltered housing schemes, as well as working with people, in later life living independently. Our aim is to create connection, support health and wellbeing, and to bring joy.

We can deliver one off sessions or bespoke projects, please get in touch if you would like to find out more.

How we work

We bring people together as a social group to move, sing, create, reminisce, and laugh together. We use carefully chosen music, to inspire and evoke memories and a selection of props to encourage movement and creativity. We are led by the people in the room and create an environment of inclusivity and support.

The benefits

Movement stimulates the brain and body boosting memory and concentration as well as tapping into the magic of music. It offers opportunity for people to express themselves, be creative and encourages social interaction, enhancing mood and sense of community.

Sessions also aim to increase strength, balance, co-ordination, and mobility and support a falls prevention programme. Prevention is key, as the trauma of experiencing a fall can destroy confidence for older people, further increasing their isolation.

Sessions support health wellbeing and quality of life
